You may have not been aware that a new version of Agatha Christie’s classic mystery, Murder on the Orient Express, was in the works, but now that the first trailer has arrived, it’s probably firmly on your radar now. Director Kenneth Branagh, also pulling double duty as master detective Hercule Poirot (sporting one of the most ridiculous, amazing moustaches ever), has assembled quite the cast here, including Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Derek Jacobi, Hamilton’s Leslie Odom, Jr., Michelle Pfeiffer, and Daisy Ridley, for probably the most stylish take on the classic tale yet.

Having grown up on multiple version of this story, on both t.v. and the big screen, I should feel jaded about yet another version, but the combination of the cast and Branagh’s incredibly polished directing style has me beyond excited for this.
