With Andrés Muschietti (Mama) at the helm, Stephen King’s hugely popular IT is coming to the big screen, and if this incredibly creepy first trailer is anything to go by, we’re in for one hell of a ride. 

Sticking quite close to the source material, every frame of this promo just oozes dread and menace (the words ‘you’ll float too’ have now been seared into my brain), and while we don’t get to see much of him, Bill Skarsgard seems to be the perfect fit for Pennywise the Clown. More overtly scary than Tim Curry’s classically creepy take in the original miniseries, this new version should definitely do justice to one of King’s most terrifying creations.
